Changing Characters in Survival?

Is there a way for me to change characters in survival through console commands? My friend and I have tried a few commands but they didn't work through being outdated, and I'm curious to know if there are any modern methods of doing this because all of the ones I've found were from 2014 and 2015.

For that input does the nickname mean c_despawn(wilson) or c_despawn(Keeng)?

your nickname ofc. Or you can use numbers, like c_despawn(1)

Or and i forgot, if you despawning yourself, you can just use c_despawn()

fair warning before you do that, itll delete your progress when despawning (inventory, map, prototypes), so be sure to drop everything before despawning.

And perhaps craft a map with the cartographer's desk, if you care about that. (Aboveground and caves are two different maps, iirc)

With both of those, you only lose your prototypings.

yes, you need to craft a map for surface and a map for caves
