Am I severly unlucky? Metheus puzzle

If I am not mistaken, we need a stack of 3 walking cane to complete the puzzle. It would be the middle item at the top from the 2x3 grid.

Well, unlucky if you don't just cheat it with the console, in a custom world made for the exclusive purpose of cheating it with the console.  Not that I know anyone who did that...

Well, if you want to put... somebody... to shame by getting the items legit, you could just find a world with the triple MacTusk set piece and hunt them every 3 days.  Maybe even make Winter longer?

Give me a minute while I make a data table to find your chance of success in a single winter...

Well, there you have it.  Note that with default settings, the best you can manage in a single season is about four attempts with four MacTusk camps, for an 80% chance to get 3 or more tusks.

You kinda can't stack walking canes....

I'll assume you've misinterpreted it. But you will need your partner's screen as well. For example, this is what I and my partner had:

Here, the walking cane matches with the 1 notch (as it always should) since it's in the same position.

Yes that was my being severly unlucky moment. Fortunatly or unfortunately, since my friend could not get it, he tried getting it with someone else, with seems to have reset the puzzle for me.

This is clearly what happened, one person has the amounts of items needed, and the other person has wich items are needed, walking cane is always present, but u cant have 3 walking canes, its always one, and if there could be two needed, they would be on different slots, since you cant stack walking canes
