Weebaaa
I didn't see any action from Maxwells supposed shadow fighters, was anyone else able to get anything? I presume they are supposed to come from attacking an enemy?
Sinister_Fang
When you attack an enemy a certain amount of times Maxwell will summon a barrage of shadow duelists that attack the enemy in quick succession, then disappear. And it has to be the same enemy. Hitting a new target resets it. So it can be pretty difficult to trigger using the petrifying tome. You likely won't be able to actually trigger his perk until later waves after you've picked up the fire staff.

So it's similarly to Wolfgang's mechanics?

Not really, while Maxwell with the firestaff deals extra damage via his shadows every 5-6 (?) hits, Wolfgang gets mighty only when he loses a lot health, so it is possible that he barely even get his buff in a match (it happened to me a few times). AggresiveWES
yeah i think a decent Wolfgang has to die a few times, or at least be very close to do so

I had a few time where, thanks to the good team and healing, I almost never got mighty.
