SackMaggie
Create empty txt file named "debug_enable.txt" in your ONI_data folder your location is depend on where you installed game (check via steam game property) once you do this get in game load colony or create new then hit "backspace" on your keyboard(by default) game will freeze for a couple secound if menu appear on right side then you are done if not you might do something wrong

AlexRou
you don't, you can spawn dupes and add liquid/gas/blocks and insta build check the options for the keyboard shortcuts
Xedlord
I know that someone knows how, but I'm guessing you need more than debug mode for that.
AlexRou
If someone could then he hacked the game
AlexRou
So whats the point of quoting someone that hacked the game to spawn creatures? Also they cannot spawn creatures while the game is running, they can only do it when starting a new game and they don't have complete control over how many and exactly where are they spawned. AlexRou
If you want to try doing what they do, you can find the files in <ONI install dir>/OxygenNotIncluded_Data/StreamingAssets/worldgen Thats all the instructions you're gona get since the post on how to do it was made long ago (I'm not even sure the files are still in the same place) so things would have changed by now. But changing those files will very likely break the game and any changes will only affect new games.
