Anybody find the steam spout or puft in the latest preview version?

after update I can't find any mobs on my map except hatch and cold breather.

 

anybody has seen the steam spout?

puft spawn rate seems to have disappeared ..though

That is a huge geyser...Are they incredibly rare or what?  I've respawn like 30 different world and look at the slime area with debug and have yet to find a single steam geyser.

yeah I think I find the answer.

If you try to use debug mode to see you map on cycle 1, you may not find the puft, morb , steam spout or other creatures.

Only when you dig deep into the area can you get the vision of that area.

Now I have new plants and steam spout on my map.

 

 

I think they increased the density of all creatures. more hatch, more puft, more plants. aha

So you're saying that simply using the debug to look at the map will prevent things from spawning?

It won't prevent them from spawning, debuging the map simply won't show them.
