fantasicboy
Building tiles into water or gas removes the water or gas right now. It may be that If you reverse with placing blocks - the gas/liquid that occupied that space got pushed into a nearby block. And i only live less than one cycle though this feature. Similarly, using airtight doors create a vacuum when they close as it does the same thing. The game is in alpha though, so that may change and is only there as a placeholder mechanic. ZeroGrim
I posted this on the bug section about a week ago and am still waiting to see what the verdict is on it.
mrbunnyban
I'm sure it has to be taken out. Otherwise, building tiles into a CO2 room this is going to be our new default way of getting rid of CO2 since mealwood no longer consumes gasses. No no, that tried and true method of reducing CO2 still works but it's a manual process. It was much easier when mealwood just consumed any gas. Targa_X
I hate this "feature" of making water vanish when you build a tile. Makes it very difficult to both remove resources next to reservoirs and to enclose reservoirs in granite tiles without losing a ton of water.
