I have no idea whats going on with my mod menu

Recommended Posts

So I logged on the game and I try to connect to my firend's (modded) world and it kicks me because his mods are out of date. He then proceeds to update them and it still kicks me. So then I check my mod menu (just in case) and i see it had been FILLED with "workshop-774065029" or some other random string of numbers. I've only ever subscribed to a few mods and my menu is now filled with random mods. If I look at the mod in the workshop, It is a legitimate mod, however, most of them i've never even heard of, including such gems like "Cannibalism 18+"  So eventually I decide to think nothing of it and I try to hop on another server which happened to have mods on it. I couldn't connect to it either. I have no idea whats going on, please help! Is it a problem on my side, or theirs? How did these random mods get in here with no titles?

Abusing mods is bad for you. Go vanilla and be happy.

That was a little rude judging how people play the game. Mods can be quite fun! Unfortunately there's so few actual good mods that fit with the game's lore, aesthetics and isn't crazy overpowered... And it's difficult finding something good among the thousands of (imo, terrible) character mods. Oh well. I'm pretty happy with just Trap Reset, Repair Combine and Global Pause.

I judge no one, and I don't think my idea is better than any other posted here. I'm trying to help with an idea that would fix it for sure. As you can see in OP picture it's not about having five cool mods, but a pretty big list which is a potential cause of problems like that :)
