A question about beardlord's behavior

I believe that sane players will see the bunnymen looking normal but moving and attacking like a beardlord, now whether this means you take beardlord damage or not is unknown to me but I would imagine that since it attacks like a beardlord with the more exaggerated slower swing that its probably the beardlord's damage for everyone. Would be good to know for sure though.

beardlords and bunnymen do the same damage in dst  the only real difference is the loot and that beardlords dont go into their houses. you and a sane friend can keep farming bunnymen during the day if 1 of you is insane as they take the stay outside atribute from the insane 1 and will still drop carrots and meat so long the insane 1 doesnt kill any.

 

that and beard lords are alot easier to catch when they are running away as they seem to have a stutter on them

 

 

Not sure about damage, but I know in order to get beard hair/nightmare fuel, the insane player MUST kill it, otherwise it will just drop carrots and bunny puffs. The sane player can damage it to weaken it, but to get the (arguably better) drops, the insane one has to kill it.

How does it work when it comes to other mobs? Say i spawn a couple of tree guards near my base then lead them to my bunny men. I then proceed to eat a few raw green mushrooms to quickly go insane. What will the bunnylords drop? And if the answer is beard hair then i want to ask okay and if another sane player comes close by and we both watch the beard lords/bunnymen die from tree guards what will they drop when one of us is sane and the other insane?

I've seen spiders kill my beardlords when I was insane and they dropped carrots and bunny puffs. They will only drop beard hair if an insane player kills them.
