Server Forrest+caves. Need to reset or regenerate caves only.

Hello. I have dedicated server with Forrest+caves. 

Is there any way to reset or better to regenerate CAVES only, with old forrest server.

for reset your server caves, you can also delete all files in folder save

example:

DoNotStarveTogether/MyDediServer/Caves/save

yap... but  will have problem with players which was saved in caves when i will delete saves

yeah all players need leave caves before reset or he going loose items

Hello, I don't have a dedicated server set up, but I play with my friends on my server. Is it still possible to regenerate only the cave?

Yes. Now it possible. Just go caves you want and try regenerateshard() in console

Will this just start the map over? Or will it regen a different map?

 

If it regens a different map - what happens to the sinkholes above? Will they still work or do new ones spawn?

It generate new world. and on caves will be new sinkholes, but it will crossed with old one in forrest )

Hi, did you know if I can regenerate the surface?, keeping the caves

I guess that if you backup the caves, regenerate the world, stop it, put caves from backup and start back the world should do the trick. Worth a shot anyway.
