FaeLove
I just found out that beefalo can be domesticated, and I really want to know how :3 Any advice I saw online was full of confusing equations and just didn't make sense :/ I just really want to know the easiest way possible (like: brush once a day and feed 2 grass, or things like that) Thanks a lot ~Faelove Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/69315-easiest-way-to-domesticate-a-beefalo/ Share on other sites

That, and ride the beefalo once in a while. Also don't overfeed it. Joachim
If you overfeed it, it loses domestication. So it defeats the purpose of domestication. Also make sure you get a salt lick too. Joachim
The most difficult part of this is having patience and being fully prepared. PanAzej
I always feed it crockpot veggie meals (dragonpie, ratatouille) until it farts. Then brush it. Repeat every day until it's domesticated. After that keep a Salt Lick built near it, so it never loses domestication. Well, you're gonna get a chubby one this way, but domestication will happen far faster than any other way. Depends which 'type' of a domesticated beef you're looking for. rezecib
The easiest way is to use it as your primary form of transportation. This way, you don't really have to feed it more than a few twigs/grass a day, just to make sure you can keep riding it. Brush once a day (it resets at daybreak), and if you do feed it, feed it when you're going to not be riding it for a while. Keep in mind it drains 300 hunger per day, though. If you want a rider beefalo (fastest), just do that. If you want an ornery beefalo (probably the best one at the moment, it's still pretty fast and does a lot of damage), then make sure you fight a lot while riding it-- both attacking and getting hit count towards being ornery. If you want a pudgy beefalo... don't do this, feed it a TON instead. But this is both the hardest one to make and the least useful. After 15-20 days of domestication (with a brush), it should "pop" and have nicely-brushed-looking hair. This means it's fully domesticated. rezecib
@EsaiXD It says on the wiki: "being overfed will cause it to lose 1% [domestication]". This compares to 1.7% gained from brushing, so it's a pretty big loss. Just don't feed it any more if it farts, which happens when it's 80% full.
