Bug With Dragonfly?

So, I have recently noticed a bug (no pun intended) with dragonfly. While I was trying to create a fight between moosegoose and dragonfly I noticed that when she did her ring of fire stomp it didn't work. No particles, no damage, no nothing. She still did the animation though. At first I thought maybe it was a mod that was messing it up, but i did a world without mods and it still didn't work. Also, does she have to be enraged to do this? Cause every time ive seen her fail the stomp she wasn't enraged. I was just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has experienced it.

The DragonFly only becomes enraged when enough of her children are killed. She'll turn orange and look as if she is on fire. Only then will her stomp produce flames.

Not all of the DST ones though.

If she did the stomp without being orange that means that you left her arena and she despawned
