TheTraditionalGentleman Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 I'd almost forgotten about this, so I thought I'd put it up before I cease to remember altogether. So a few weeks ago I was playing in one of my worlds and was waiting for one of my friends to join. I was just chilling in my camp near my campfire, when behind me, near one of my chests came the text: "Psst . . . over here". I had no idea what on earth that was, and still have no clue. The text was in blue, and there was no sound. I was also currently the only one in my world. Any thoughts? I did have some mods running, but I'd used them before and had never seen this. My only guess is that maybe it was the gnome in my chest that said it? I had the "Fear of Gnomes" mod running, but I'd never seen that before. No idea. Maybe it'll just turn into a spooky ghost story told around the campfire when there are no hounds attacking or shadow beasts to worry about, but if anyone has answers I'd love to hear them! Muche Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Fear of Gnomes mod does indeed cause gnomes to speak. One of their lines is "Psst! Come here!" and its color is gray-blueish. They try to speak only once per about 10 minutes if there is a player nearby, so it's easy to miss. I've always kind of liked them, but they freak my uncle out. Maybe he's onto something . . .
