Nilow
I am looking for clarification relating to the mechanics of regrowing Juicy Berry Bushes. Me and my friends found a pig village with roughly 40 Juicy Berry Bushes so we dug them up and replanted them where we thought we should settle in. When replanting them we proceeded to re-fertilize them with Manure from Beefalo's. However it has now been 8 in game days and they have not given us a new batch of berries. So in summary, I am wondering if the Juicy Berry Bushes are not intended to regrow new berries or if they have a very long amount of time required to regrow. Any clarification would be much appreciated. Thank you, Nilow Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/66699-juicy-berry-bush-mechanic-clarification/ Share on other sites
Muche
Yes, Juicy Berry Bushes have longer berries regrow time, from 9 to 13 days. Regular berry bushes regrow berries after 3-7 days. Faintly Macabre
As well they should, considering the triple payout. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/66699-juicy-berry-bush-mechanic-clarification/#findComment-757952 Share on other sites
FTR
Am I the only one that really hates juicy bushes? Not only need a lot more time to regrow, but spoil so damn quick. I like them because cooked juicy berries give you just a bit less than a cooked meat. Bahlsen
5 minutes ago, FTR said: Not only need a lot more time to regrow This hurts people who don't join on day 1. If you join on day 4 or so a lot of the berries have already been picked and you won't have freshly regrown berries. Besides, there are less juicy berry bushes to compensate for their high food value, which exacerbates the problem. With regular bushes I can pick 10 berries or so and leave a lot for the others, which is difficult to do with the juicy ones. We'll have to focus on alternatives now, red caps+butterflies, birchnuts, maybe monster meats...
