Rellimarual
I'm starting to suspect there's now Yaarctopus on my map, which means that I'll never be able to unlock Woodlegs on it and should jump worlds. Is there a console command that can tell me whether or not the Yaarctopus is somewhere in the world? I don't want to reveal the whole map if I can help it, but I don't want to keep working on this world if its a guaranteed dead end.
Developer ImDaMisterL Posted March 1, 2016 Developer Share Posted March 1, 2016 Try typing c_gonext("octopusking") on your console, that will teleport you to him if he's on your world (but beware, I don't know how that'd work in SW and if it'd teleport you with your boat or not. Have a life-saver on, just in case).
WillPwn4Food
Definitely be in a boat if you do this. It's a guaranteed death otherwise
Rellimarual
Nothing happened when I did this, so can I assume there's no yaarctopus? Damn!

Huh, I thought the Yarrctopus was a mandatory generation for every world. Well, you can spawn one in wherever you think it would be fair: c_spawn("octopusking")
Rellimarual
This command was useful once more on a new map that turned out to have no normal beehives (only 4 killer beehives). Wondering about my luck, but thanks again!
TemporaryMan
The other way you can check is c_countprefabs("octopusking"). I prefer this method over c_gonext because it neither tells me where something is nor takes me to it, so it feels less like cheating.
