padelno91 Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 so i want to know how long it takes (days) for puddle of water to form in monsoon season, because i can prep better by patching the formed puddle before it spreads so i could save the resources to make sandbags for other things. By my experienced, it takes like 13 days into the season but i may be wrong and i was not at my base at the time. Clwnbaby Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 it typically starts raining on Day 4 or 5 of the season. The puddles form with the first rain. Believe it or not the Rainometer finally has a use as you can just build one of those and wait for the arrow to start crossing into the rain area. Dracian Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 Rain can start as soon as day 4 or as late as day 7 into monsoon. As for puddles, they will form when it rains, but only past day 5 of the season. I also have remarked that the later the first rain, the bigger will be the puddles. Tiberry Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 In my last game during the 2nd monsoon season it started raining only on day 11! It was terrible, the puddles just spawned really big and when I got to my base everything was flooded already so all the sandbags I had prepared were useless. Is this a bug or is it normal that it doesn't rain for so long? Once you have a general plan to do that, the puddle situation is less upsetting. Some seasons rain starts pretty late and the puddles that spawn are instantly huge (and generally already flooding my entire base).
