The abrupt halt causes Wiffleball to slam into the back of Meritursas, which in turn causes Kate to slam into the both of them. ~~~ Meanwhile, the machete is left unattended while the four of them play. It just lays there, gleaming in the sun in all it's tempting, shiny glory... The dragon's eyes darted from side to side before she stealthily snuck the golden object into her pouch. Wiffleball was momentarily stunned by the earlier impact of Kate slamming into him, but managed to recover by the time he was thrown on top of Meritursas.
