Is this all about the Big Foot?

This title sounds like it should be in the RoG sub forum, but since it is something from the ocean, it should

at least have something to do with SW.

 

When the Old Bell was just introduced, I thought that there'd be a much longer story about that. However, days passed, it is still how it was like since the beta. I really expected more than that!

 

The Big Foot (looks like a dragon) has such a mysterious feeling, and can't just end up like this.

 

But I don't have a proposal now.

Shall we see a gigantic dragon rising from the ocean?

Shall we fight with something we can never defeat?

I don't know. I don't want to know anything about him now.

Please let me enjoy some surprise!

The Bigfoot is just the owner of Klei grouch-ily stomping through your world, hence why the brain is so small big.

Yes, I knew that, however seriously, this is not actually part of the game.

I really expected more than that.

It's literally a foot with a brain on it, I don't think it needs much more development than that in traditional Don't Starve lore.

I see. But my point is that the brain part is just a joke, something like an easter egg.

I see what OP means. It's an intriguing thing. The whole glommer statue, glommer flower appearing on full moons, killing glommer and destroying its statue to get the old bell, then you ring it and some enormous giant from some far off land stomps through. I know it piqued my curiosity when they first introduced it. But maybe it's better that way to leave it all as some grand enigma that defies explanation. Some things are better left to the imagination.

Except the bigfoot is a fully implemented mechanic in a out-of-beta game.

 

Look, the bigfoot is just. There. It's a giant foot you summon by ringing a bell, it makes no sense, i know. The dragonfly vomiting babies and the Goose Moose making eggs appear via lightning also doesnt make sense in the slightest. As of right now, unless something is introduced, like another foot to accompany bigfoot at the same time so it does give the impression of a multiple legged creature instead of a one foot pogostick dragon, id say you're overanalyzing something that is just simply there for joking purposes, like the one man band. Another thing that goes to say its a joke is that moleworms can summon bigfoot and its actually kind of funny.
