Missing Wilson Guest Of Honour

I did not receive my entitled skin shortly after opening my present as i was playing WES and could not equip the item but i used the Try Now option anyways, and nothing happened. I assumed it was normal because playing as wes, you could not have a Wilson Face, so i went along until i looked through my collection and to my despair the skin could not be found. Unfortunately there is no evidence that i did unbox the Wilson GOH however there must be a way to prove that i did unbox it, Please help

Something similar happened to my friend... though with him, once he entered a server he'd get a new skin right off the bat and that skin would be the missing one, and no, it didn't count as a skin, so for example, this bug would technically give you 5 gift drops a week, but only 4 skins.

Were you looking through your steam inventory while still in game? Cause of so, your inventory refreshes after leaving a server.

@MisterMister, please try logging out and back in and then joining an online game again as @ImDaMisterL recommended.

If you're still not seeing your item, please post your log.txt file and I'll look in to what happened.
