  1. 1. Do we need to increase the number of cells of the chest, to reduce the number of chests?

I don't think they should change the regular chest, but if there was a new, more expensive harder to craft chest with more slots that would be awesome when you get to late game and have like 4-5 chests and can never remember which one has which items.

I vote for the new, harder to craft, 12 slot PIRATE TREASURE CHEST! (I didn't dig a real one up yet so I'm not sure what they look like.)

I agree storage is a pain in this game.

or an OBSIDIAN CHEST! we can build even Obsidian firepits why not a chest too

I guess! I haven't encountered obsidian yet so I don't know what's great about it. I know that IRL it is not the best thing for making chests, it is a glass-like material that would shatter easily. Better for weapons, it is very sharp. (I also know what it does inside Packim Baggins...)

There needs to be better storage options considering the majority of the items blow away or get stolen by apes if they aren't placed in chests.

And who is downvoting??  What possible logic or reasoning could you have to vote against this?

well for the description I think he said that they should change the regular chest, i'm totally agains that, having a new chest with more slots it's another thing

Yes! Maybe I'm a worse packrat than most, but I usually have 6 chests and at least 2 iceboxes in my main camp ASAP (and I still have to leave all my tools/hats/other non-stacking items lying on the ground). It just gets crazy with all the new stuff and especially the monkeys and wind in SW...
