OrderedChaos Posted December 13, 2015 Share Posted December 13, 2015 I don't think they should change the regular chest, but if there was a new, more expensive harder to craft chest with more slots that would be awesome when you get to late game and have like 4-5 chests and can never remember which one has which items. I haven't encountered obsidian yet so I don't know what's great about it. I know that IRL it is not the best thing for making chests, it is a glass-like material that would shatter easily. Better for weapons, it is very sharp. (I also know what it does inside Packim Baggins...) In one play through I have two chest full of rocks with no use purpose. Perhaps we could make some stone chest 3x4 (or 4x4) with x6 cut stone. Maybe I'm a worse packrat than most, but I usually have 6 chests and at least 2 iceboxes in my main camp ASAP (and I still have to leave all my tools/hats/other non-stacking items lying on the ground). It just gets crazy with all the new stuff and especially the monkeys and wind in SW... As far as I'm concerned, they're an adequate replacement for the ol' Chest.
