Developer PeterA Posted November 25, 2015 Developer Share Posted November 25, 2015 I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do, but you could hide all the head symbols except for a single one, and then just override that one.
Maris
@PeterA, I'm trying to make growing hair like a beard but on the back of the head. Where can I see the full list of override symbols for character? And will you show me a simple uncommon example (e.g. with hair), please? Thanks. And will you show me a simple uncommon example (e.g. with hair), please? Thanks. Unfortunately I don't have an example of someone overriding the hair, but the code should be the same as any other symbol override. Here's the list of symbols in the character that you can override though!arm_carryarm_lowerarm_lower_cuffarm_normalarm_upperarm_upper_skinbeardfacefoothairhair_hathair_pigtailshairfronthairpigtailshandhatheadhead_hatheadbase_hatheadbaselantern_overlaylegskirtswap_bodyswap_body_tallswap_faceswap_hatswap_objecttailtorsotorso_pelvisI would suggest looking at Webber's beard code as an example, and then adjust it to change the hair symbol. Maybe something likeinst.AnimState:OverrideSymbol("hair", "growing_hair", "hair_long")--growing_hair being the other build, and hair_long being one of the symbols in that build.
