25$ for the Abigail figure? Seems a bit... excessive...

Compared to the other Don't Starve figures, Abigail is a lot lower detail due to her character model, and even though she is glow in the dark, I highly doubt that could have added that much to the production cost.

That 25$ price tag combined with another 30$ for shipping equals 55$ for this : http://s0.limitedrun.com/images/1154055/Abigail__10_of_8_.jpg

While for only 12.50$ more I could get this : http://store.kleientertainment.com/products/525236-mark-of-the-ninja-limited-edition-vinyl-figure

The blind box figures are only 10$ a piece, 13$ on normal price, and they are much more detailed.

So whats up with the price increase? I get that its limited edition, but seriously?

Edit: She isn't even a variant like the other figures...

It's more desirable, which is how it can get along with a "super duper outlandish unacceptable price", not because it was hard to make. Computers don't cost nearly as much to make them than what they sell for, most of the time. So, if you don't want to pay that, then don't pay it. I think you'll survive just fine without Abigail glowing in the night and keeping you awake.

I feel it's okay that it's more. I mean, you know what you're getting first off, $25 dollars or not. And second, think of this in the context of that limited edition ESC WX-78 custom paint figure that was (and maybe still is) around; Only less expensive.

So...

Abigail figure == pauper's Dubby Beefalo ?
