So when I first ran the command I did not get any validating messages, oddly, when I re-run it now I do get them. However there's still a problem with the connection. So I found where you took the DestinationWorld from, and noticed that it changes every time the cave server bounces. I have most recently tried snipping in the correct ID for the current session, but when it attempts to validate the cave_entrance_open connection to the caves world I get the following error back: "[00:20:28]: Validating 7: status: INACTIVE world: 3592438217 available: false" (I got 3592438217 from the most recent restart, in the console it reads "[00:19:31]: [sHARD] Slave 'caves(3592438217)' connected from [LAN] IP: 127.0.0.1[00:19:32]: [sHARD] Slave 'caves(3592438217)' ready![00:19:32]: World '3592438217' is now connected " There is another, possibly-related, oddity on this server. Somehow my server_token.txt got munged, not sure how. Re-loading the server_token.txt and restarting fixed that handily though. I'm not sure how that could be related, but figured it's worth mentioning. I'm attaching the current logs from both servers in case they're useful. When I try to go in the sinkhole, I always get the server not responding pop up. Here are my logs for both slave and master server. It was working prior to this new update and I didn't change anything other than updating the server, and DST. I also noticed that the servers say they are connected, but my slave server is coming up in the server listings for some reason. If you get the Migration by user () failed (163) error (which is at the bottom of on of your logs), then it was some kind of client problem, so we'll have to have a look at the client's log.txt for when this happens. (sg1aprophis, could you post the log.txt of your client from when the connection fails as well? Thanks!) After this update i get crash when press HOST GAME in main menu. Thanks for reporting this, it will be fixed in today's update! When the cave server and master server is offline (-lan) .Is there a way to connect with each other?please~thanks~ No, you can not run a multilevel server with offline/-lan mode. Please make the server offline, and use the lan_only_server=true setting in the [network] section of your settings.ini to limit it to local connections. Does this affect performance? Connections go via your servers? My understanding of the NAT traversal is not good.. I'll get one of the other programmers here to answer this. I closed ports. People can join to my server. But in server list ping of my server show like "???". Interesting, thanks for reporting this, I'll look in to it. @Ipsquiggle, why our fix with earthshake didnt add ? Will you add they in next updates ? For now i add it with my own. The fix just didn't make it in to yesterday's patch. It will be in today's update. From the overworld, could you tryc_migrateto(3592438217, 1)where the first number is of course the cave ID? If that works, then it looks like it's a problem with the portal itself... I'll look in to this further! I haven't tried regenerating either world as of yet, since this is my Wilderness server I only regen it ever week or two. Migrating from the overworld to the caves works fine, but players are unable to return from the voyage into the caves. Attempting to return to the overworld results in a timed out message, and a Migration by user () failed (163) in the server log. Where are clients log's located?
