MenaAthena Posted December 16, 2015 Share Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) (Well that escalated quickly.)Kate, having decided she was bored of the grownup's conversation, began occupying herself by tossing the yellow sphere up into the air and catching it as it came back down. Kade, also bored, took an interest. "Hey, lemme try that..." he said as he reached for the orb, but she moved it out of his grasp. The magic robot gave it to her, so it was hers and she was playing with it right now. "Aw come on! Just for a little bit!" he whined, moving around and reaching for it again. She moved it out of his reach again and started running, Kade chasing after her. "Stop being so selfish! Give me a turn!" She continued to run around, occasionally moving it away from her brother and throwing it up into the air to catch it as she ran. He barely stops himself from wailing in pain, knowing such a gruesome reveal will make the others alarmed enough; so instead, he tries to defuse the situation. He blinks in surprise, and drops the orb. "Well that's a bother." He says in an annoyed voice. She might have been able to handle the situation on it's own if the gruesome sight hadn't triggered something; a fragment of a memory, hidden away by her subconscious to keep her sane. His bandages were dirty, some burned, and his right hand was entirely burnt to a crisp. He looked up, and barely sputtered out "Abo... Aboma... Ab..." Before he slumped into the silent abyss, he wanted to protect both his identity and the group. "D-don't... Touch me..."
