Thomas had no idea if he should believe the talking rock, but then again he just did the ultimate dream test, so the rock was probably right. "Well then Mister Rock, do you happen to have any idea on how to get home?" he said as pang of embarrassment went through him. It felt strange to be talking to some sort of magical rock.

(They took a break for tea.)

Two of the townsfolk leapt onto Vilsig, clinging onto him. The half decapitated being let out some ungodly shriek as the gray substance spilled from his wounds.

"Hm... No, that won't do. It needs to be freshly made, you see." The Illustrator shook his head as he examined the amulet.

"Just keep running and don't look back." Tiresias continued running away from the quickly spreading forest fire.

Kate wasn't paying attention to the odd smell or Tiresias' directions or anything else, she was just getting from the fire as fast as she could, desperately trying to ignore the sting of the smoke, the heat radiating onto her back, and the echoing screams of the trees. Every now and then flames would start to flicker on one of her arms, and she would immediately snuff it out with a hand.

(At this point, I might as well just give the rock a bio

Name: A rock

Race: Rock

History: Rocks come from bigger rocks that broke down. Some rocks break into sand too, but these rocks are normal rocks.

This rock, however, is a funny-shaped rock, and has been outcasted from his rock village because it looks so funny.

Personality: Rocks are wise and all-knowing because they sit around and do nothing, but because of that they are very detached from reality, and remain asleep.

Appearance: It is a basketball-sized piece of stone in the shape of a walnut. Sometimes it glows red.

Strengths: It is very wise and, being part of the earth, knows where anything touching the ground is. It is very hard to destroy, and if broken, it will simply turn into more rocks. Checkmate.

It can also provide warmth or cold and energy to those around it.

Weaknesses: It cannot move on it's own, and even then it is pretty heavy. It is also reclusive to reality, though is slowly awakening every day)

Judas grunted, and lied down. "Lemme know when she wakes up."

Thomas passes a tree that seems to have illegible chicken scratch on it. He then realized it was probably not a good idea to read it from ten feet away. Thomas didn't want to waste energy though, so he just kept going, and didn't mention the writing to his magical rock companion.
