(... Did you put bombs in the rabbits? Are they gonna cook the rabbits and then explode while Vilsig walks away with sunglasses?)

The man gave Vilsig the cloth, then looked over the rabbits individually. "Is that all? Don't you think you should stick around for a while? It's rough out there, you know."

Tiresias sighed somewhat impatiently, then looked up. "I'm Tiresias. We're a bit pressed for time at the moment, and I don't want to explain things twice. You can stand threateningly between us and Corthias if you want, I don't really care. So let's go." His tone was notably less cheerful, and rather condescending to the potentially dangerous man with an axe that stood before him.

"You have some sort of problem with her, eh?! Now that just makes you more suspicious in my book, eh. I'm going to keep a close eye on all of you. Don't go trying anything now, eh."

"Thanks, Tiresias......that's what I want. To be judged and looked down on. I guess it's true......being wise doesn't keep you from making mistakes..."

Tiresias turned around to face Lefay, his sullen glare resting on her. "It doesn't matter what you want." He looked like he was about to say more, but thought better of it, and turned back around. "Come along. Let's stop wasting time." He moved forward, giving a wave to Corthias.

Vilsig nods, picking up the cloth. "I can take the heat." He says, turning around and walking away. As he exits the warehouse doors, the entire structure is blown to shreds by an enormous fireball. Vilsig pauses as rubble rains down around him. "Can you?" He says, walking away in slow motion while the CSI Miami opening theme plays.

Corthias watched the entire exchange, amazed that there were more people in this world then she would've thought, and quickly and politely gave a small, generic wave towards the general direction of the oncoming group, moving the book out of sight of the group as best as she could.

"He could've been a little more assertive. . .Corthias whispered under her breath, as she clutched the book at her side.

Mark was quick to wave back to Corthias. "Why hello, pleased to meet ya!" He then turned to Woodie. "And pleased to meet ya too! I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say you're Canadian, eh?"

(Nah, the gang shimmied over there. Maybe my spacial reasoning is off, but whatever. They're together because I said so.)

The man waved a small goodbye, then moved to put the rabbits in a nearby ice box.

"Leave by getting out of here, of course!" Tiresias laughed loudly, as if what he had just said was absurdly hilarious. Alex watched him carefully.

Vilsig carries the fabric over to a nearby forest.  He starts a fire, then grows a hunk of flesh and tears it off.  He melts the meat, then soaks the cloth in it, dying it dark grey and making it indistinguishable from the original material.  His bladelike arms fold out of his head, and start cutting the fabric into wearable clothing, using strips of his own skin as thread.  Before long, he has a long cloak that covers his entire body, and a few long pieces of cloth, which he wraps around his face.  Vilsig's shadowy appearance is now completely hidden.

A few hours after he leaves town, he returns, carrying a long staff which is literally covered in rabbit bodies.  He sets up a spit in the center of the village, and starts cooking them en masse.

Mina was about to hyperactively expound about the coolness of a talking axe when a realization hit her out of nowhere: was the talking axe real, or was she hallucinating it? She has hallucinated before, and no one else directly adressed the presence of a talking axe, but usually something triggers the hallucination, and would an insane person question if what they were hallucinating was a hallucination? Why was she suddenly questioning this now after not even batting an eye at a giant wolf, a shadow music note, healing shadow tentrils, and a bunch of other stuff people would normally question their sanity for seeing? Was she insane before and starting to come to her senses? Was she sane before and now starting to go insane? She herself had experienced her own supernatural powers for most of her life. Were those and others reactions to them a figment of her own mind? Is anything around her real? Has her life been a lie? Did she never actually lea-oh wait people are talking.

Mina blinked out of her daze and looked around at the group. "Wait, what were we talking about? I spaced out."
