"I don't know." she shrugs as she answers his question. "Thank you! I've had it for most of my life, I think. I've never kept track of time that well. I'm not even sure how old I am, even though everyone else seems to know how old they are. It never seemed important to me to figure out my age; there's usually a lot of other things to think about that are more important, such as, 'Do I want to risk eating this mushroom? Was it these berries or those ones that didn't give you diarrhea? Should I run away from the guy coming at me with a knife or punch him in the face? Would anyone notice me taking change out of the bottom of this fountain?' and so on." The whole time she was talking she never seemed less cheerful.

(If this number is a bad, then lemme know. You did say late teens to early 20s, so I'm just gonna go off that.)

Tiresias grinned. "Take it from an old guy. Knowing your age is important. It lets you know who you get to act superior to." He chuckled, then gave a patronizing pat on the head to Mina. "You're nineteen. And a half. Ish."

The man tsked. "Depends. Do you have anything worth trading for?"

(. . .dammnit, I feel like a burden on this, seeing as I don't have much time for roleplaying.)

"Thank you."

Corthias leaned over and gingerly touched the pages of the book, which were now charred and slightly warm, before picking the book up. She quickly rubbed the black ashes off of the pages, and it could be seen that the fibers of the pages were slowly growing back, almost as if hell itself didn't burst from between the seams.

"God, I hate this book; at least this time it burned itself out quickly. . .well, this time."

(I have nothing else to really say, so that kind of sucks; I want Corthias to meet people, to accidentally hurt people and herself, to suffer.)

(No worries, Pecy.

This time the book burned out this time at this time in this moment this time.

You get your suffering soon. They just gotta get there.)

If they cared to look, Corthias and Woodie would see more figures approaching from the horizon, a handful of people walking towards them.

The man shrugged as he walked. "It's going. That's what's important. And yourself?"

Woodie scratched his head, a bit confused as to what Corthias was going on about. He then heard a muffled, angry voice from his back pocket. He quickly scrambled to get Lucy back out.

"Stop ignoring me, please!"

"Sorry, Lucy. Our guest got a bit hurt, eh."

"....Fine.....I guess that's a good enough reason.......uh, Woodie?"

"Eh?"

"We have more company. I don't know if they're friendly or not."

Woodie had to look around for a second before he noticed the figures off in the horizon. He slowly got up.

"I see 'em, Lucy.....Corthias, stick around, eh? I'll be back soon."

Woodie went to go see who was snooping around close to camp.

TIresias pointed his staff at the approaching lumberjack, who was just visible. "There. You see him? Because I certainly don't. These old eyes can't see a thing anymore." He mused.

"What're you looking for cloth for?" They approached the storehouse, and the man gave a nod to a pair of men standing in front of the entrance with spears, who proceeded to let them pass.

(That was eh, quick. Fast travel 2 stronk)

He picks up a handful of scraps of cloth, picking some up and putting some back. Eventually he was holding about six pieces of missmatched cloth, all cut into relatively even squares. "I'll give you this much for each rabbit."

Tiresias chuckled. "We're here to see you, of course! There's not much else around here to see, now is there?" He grinned widely, then continued onwards, walking past Woodie. "Come along. We're going to meet up with Corthias. Why don't all of you get acquainted?"
