Mikeman64 Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 I totally understand that this game has gone far and beyond and is now playable on your mobile device, which is Awesome, but your forgetting the other side of mobile gamers out there, Android Gamers and the fact that it's put out their as "Pocket Edition" when it's only playable on I- pads and new iPhone brands is very misleading. I'm just mainly curious as to why hasn't their has not been any news about it coming to android devices? I'm sure with a few minor adjustments you'll be able to get this game running well on certain Android devices just like what your doing with Ipads/Iphones and I have seen it happened with plenty of other great games out on the market being on both Android and Apple devices. Oh yes because we all know that while Klei is working on 4 things at once making the game completely from scratch for a new platform is #1 on their priority list. I'm getting tired of this. Yes, we all know that it's not for any devices besides iOS, and Yes, we know you don't like that. Is Klei going to add other platforms? Yes, why wouldn't they. It's just not hot on their plate at the moment, with Shipwrecked, Caves, Skins, Bug fixes, balancing, and redesigning, adding a completely new platform is very,very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very low on their priority list at the moment. You're relying on the community that is not whatsoever in complete touch with the dev team, or part of it, to predict information on when PE could possibly be released? I don't understand how that is misleading. iPhones are mobile devices, hence the 'Pocket' part. If a game is released for Windows and not Mac or Linux, would you complain that it's misleading to call it a 'computer' game? If a game comes out for Playstation and not Xbox, is it not a 'console' game? Or your next thread will be "why i can't play DS on my xyz phone?"First off, anybody can pirate games, it's been done since the original don't starve been in beta on pc, (still being pirated now on consoles To this day) and it's easily possible to do it on iPhone/I pad just like how it is with android, all it takes is certain software, but people like me wouldn't do that,but instead support it and actually buy this game and again, similar to people on iPhone, their are those who pirated this game and those who support it and buy it.2nd my processor is pretty much date with the latest to be able to run just about anything on the store, (of course expect for tablet only games) it's just like how most of the apple devices required to run this game would be if it was on android devices, only compatible with the latest devices.3rd I'm just saying if it's not out for anything else other then apple devices, then why not just call it DS apple instead of DS pocket edition? Pocket edition technology would mean it's out on Phones apple/Android/Windows, or is it implying the possibility of it being released on other phones? About that name. Show me one game that is exclusive on iOS and it is called "blabla iOS game" or i will show you 37246 Windows games that are marked as "PC game" and are not for Linux or Mac.
