I am a major DS gamer that has been getting into mods recently :grin: , and even though there is a lot of amazing ones out there, there is a lot more that can be made right? I have a few ideas... 

(initiate creepy evil laughter and music soundtrack)

 

 

This is basically a place to get your ideas out and stuff :-) and to chat with other gamers/moders too

A few ideas that I have been having is like reskins for the NORMAL DS. Seeing all the news about Klei releasing new skins for the characters is exciting and all, but what about the people who prefer to play alone (like me!)? Just because we play DS instead of DST we end up missing out on all this cool stuff, how is that fair! D: I want to play as Maxwell in his fluffy coat....

 

I also like the idea of having a lot more options for Chester, instead of the same normal 3 all the time. Wouldn't that be cool :D ?

 

What do you say everyone? :willow:

Well, if you're willing to try, the mod is making different factions of pigs. Much of the workload would be in the software program gimp.

Extremely easy, and lots of layering.

Omg, after stating that, I thought of a summons for one of the factions......manbearpig

I can help also, and I have another idea: Pigs can build structures and start bases just like playable characters.

I'll send you the idea I have, and the files I'm working on. There's some work to do, and I'm not the best script guru out there, but the idea is....well...I'll pm you here when I get off work in a few hours. The first phase of the project I want to keep relatively simple, until I can con some script wizards into helping....preferably with the word star at the end of their names.....

But I'm not even going to ask until I can give them some data that this would be worth their while to put some time into it.

But the easy stuff first!
