Johnnyprofane
I really like some of the preset worlds from adventure mode, like 2 worlds, archipelago, the game is afoot (actually I HATE the game is afoot), a cold reception, etc. I would love for there to be an option to have your world seed from one of these presets. So I could have an archipelago server, or a king of winter server (not just perma-winter but all those sanity bridges too), or whatever it might be. All the coding is already there too! Just a few tweaks here or there right?
StaypuftMMM
As someone who has only played public PvP servers, I would enjoy these. Having difficult world settings would dissuade certain people from hanging around too long in the harsh climate. Along with that, it would be more fun (for me anyway) to see that others have been able journey through the obelisks and are now living on the same side as I am. Although, I'm not sure how well these maps would work out. Typically resources are rather scarce in adventure mode worlds while a DST world should be able to accommodate a large number of people. It seems like it would either be rather easy or incredibly difficult to survive depending on how early a person started when the world generated. GiddyGuy
Well king of winter is possible and maybe the is afoot with the right settings.
Johnnyprofane
Well king of winter is possible and maybe the is afoot with the right settings.Yes and no. With current world options I can't force sanity bridges to spawn, or make a central island with each branch guarded by something in particular like in the game is afoot. Beyond that the game is afoot has every branch sort of themed, like spiders, clockwork, bees, swamps, etc. it's totally not possible for me to do that with the current options. None of the adventure mode worlds are possible to make. Except for a cold reception because that's just basically frog rain interspersed with short winters. But even then you have the pig guarded bridge, which you just can't control in world creation currently.

I would welcome the challenge of starting on the harsh world in two worlds and having to find the worm hole across though. Plus, if you set up your bases across one of the horrible bridges, any griefers that spawn will have to go through the trouble of not only finding your base but making it there alive. Play on wilderness and they would never make it to you lol. Unless they spawn right next to you of course.
imsomony
There's a mod that offers a couple of these options. The creator is still updating to support RoG, so it's not working for the time being.
