Sivdun
Hello everyone.I played over 100h of DST and I wanted to jump back into DS to check few things.I don't like to play with knowledge of how long seasons last, but if You play long enough You start to remember it, so in world settings I set all seasons on random. I was suprised when I realized the settings "random" on all seasons change the seasons when you quit the game, so I left and join the game few times and in five time segments I had all four seasons. I didn't really expect that and I thought when I set it to random I could have something like: First year:Spring - ShortSummer - LongAutumn - DefaultWinter - Very Short Next year:Spring - LongSummer - ShortAutumn - Very ShortWinter - Long etc. Something like this. Is there any way to have setting like this without that "left game and seasons change" thing?I don't want to play with settings that I know how much they last, because that game starting to get boring when you can predict so many things, I want to feel pressure of time on me. applebottom
Is this really DS? I checked just now and made a world with all seasons set to random. Saving and quitting + logging back in doesn't change seasons for me. Or it could be a bug...
cptCalavera
@Erec, The way that works is every time you log back in to the game it changes the random element. So if you had long-short.default-short when you play the first time, you will have for example short-short-long-long the next time you log in. It also have the possibility to set a season to none. And when that happens you will have a completely new season when you log back in. cos your current season was randomized to none, the next one will start emidietly. Hope that makes sense. Sivdun
@cptCalavera, I got that, there is no way to make It the way I want it. So I need to look for a mod or something.

Wow that is awesome (and crazy! Who would do that! Haha) Sorry I was wrong, Erec. Thanks for correcting, Captain!
Mobbstar
Erec, if you want to have each season at a random setting and fix that then, why not roll dices in a literal fashion? Sounds easier than making a mod.
