PocketChicken
How long did you wait? Was there frogs or anything like that to agro bees? And were you near of far away of your bee box? And I'm assuming It wasn't winter and you didn't use any mods? edit:And was there any other players that could have taken the honey?
thistownneedsguns
i made them around day 8 and winter started and still no honey (but there were no dead bees around the boxes) no one took it, i played with friends, not randoms. maybe they were too near to the marsh area, i will try out it again. i needed the honey for the librarian. DarkXero
If there are no players near the bees (like what, within three screens? Four?), then bees will enter a sleep state. They won't go to flowers to produce honey.Instead, the boxes will produce like 1 honey in 1 day. However, I believe the real deal is that there aren't enough flowers.Bees need to pollinate SIX (6) flowers in order to come back and generate 1 honey.Maybe you have 5 flowers in the marsh, and the extra flower needed is just too far away.So bees pollinate five, then wander until dusk, then return empty handed. tl;dr Put more flowers.
