Custom world: rebalance difficulty for summer-only world

While I can survive the winter season, I find it not very fun, so I'm planning on doing some summer-only worlds (or autumn-only for RoG).  But I feel like that, to compensate, I should make the world more difficult in other aspects.  Does anyone have experience on what would strike a good balance?

A Summer-Only RoG world will normally end in a pretty quick demise, as you will struggle to get enough resources together to build science machines to build thermal stone/icebox/endothermic fire before overheating.

 

Just start a regular RoG game with Summer as the start season. See how you get on and if you think you need to bump the difficulty up.
