Not accurate ping?

There are actually stages of ping:

1) 16-17 ms

2) 33-34 ms

3) 49-50 ms

4) 66-67 ms

5) 83-84 ms

6) 99-100 ms

7) 116-117 ms

8) 132-133 ms

And so on.  I haven't seen ping 10ms/20ms/30ms etc.

The best I have ever seen is 10-12. I'm not clear what you're asking though... I get that you're saying "it's not accurate", but I don't understand why you think it's inaccurate?

I believe what he means is that he never saw a different ping than what he written down here, as in a set number instead of calculating the actual ping and sending it to the client.

Oooohhhhh.... interesting. I've never seen a range like that myself, always just one number.

@imsomony, No, I think he's saying that every time he sees a ping (and he always sees one number like the rest of us), it falls in one of those ranges, and never out of them.

 

However, I just did a check now and got a pretty continuous range of pings, many of which were outside Maris's listed ranges (e.g. 32, 36). But I don't think it really matter anyway... So what if ping's not precise, it fluctuates all the time, anyway.
