Samplify
If I hosted a server, can i transfer it somehow and let someone else host it? Or transfer the ownership of the server?
Zillvr
As far as I know, this is not yet possible. I also have not heard or read any confirmations that it will be a a feature in the long run. I also do not think whether manually giving a friend a copy of your server saves will make what you are suggesting work. If anyone can confirm this, let us know. If I'm mistaken, I'm sorry. imsomony
You might be able to give them your save file. But I haven't tried that, so I don't know the consequences.
Zervo
if it works, most likely you will play as your friend's character (the original host character).and if you copy the whole folder, most likely you will lose all of your save files as a hosts before.since it will be overwritten by your friend's hosts file. am i being capt obvious? rezecib
@Samplify, You can transfer over the world save, yes. But you will both start as new characters if your friend loads it up. If it was you're 3rd save slot, the save is located at Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/save/survival_3. You can rename it to put it in other slots.
