对于气候的依赖贯穿整个人类文明,

同样,这一点可以大大丰满生存的“乐趣”----危险即机遇

季节的变换:可以是雨季或旱季,也可以是四季更替。

而气候或季节的最佳表现方式即天气。

不同的天气(无外乎雨雪风雷雾等)将会带来不同的“惊喜”,

雨季为作物带来充足的雨水,飞禽走兽迁徙而来,但下雨时难以烧火。相对的,旱季时玩家不得不为淡水挣扎,还要力图克服可怕的火灾及蝗灾。

雷暴时站在空旷处会遭殃,当然砍大树也不明智。但如何利用闪电将是更大的挑战。

同时一场龙卷风可以把你数月的经营掠夺的一干二净。

下雪不仅意味着保暖的重要性,也意味着食物的搜集将异常困难。甚至会出现连续数天的极夜加暴风雪——海洋冻结,出现各种极地生物或精灵乃至失落的冰雪之城...

大雾时会出现什么?雾气里影藏着无限的联想:《the mist》《silent hill》《the fog》

气候变化的规律可以以一定的方式展现,如何预知或驾驭才是更加高端的玩法。

let me translate for u, it says

New threats : unique weather, season change

the Weather affect our whole civilizations as we depand on it.

Season change: it can be dry season or rainy season, or maybe four season as well.

forcast and season could affect the weather.

different weather such as raining,snowing,windy,lighthing storm and fog will have different "surprises"

during raining season, it provides water and animals will appear as well. but is hard to make fire.

in dry season, you will struggle for clear water and also must face the terrify wild fire and locust.

what happen if fog appear? something unimaginable things hidden in the fog maybe like from "the mist", "silent hill","the fog"

Yes, these are all good types of weather to include in the game.

during raining season, it provides water and animals will appear as well. but is hard to make fire.

I was thinking that the rainy season would be in Spring and again in Fall (only maybe not as much). Whenever it rains exposed fires should extinguish faster, so the player needs to either keep feeding more fuel into the fire or protect the fire (i.e. lean-to).

in dry season, you will struggle for clear water and also must face the terrify wild fire and locust.

I would say this sounds like Summer, and while I'm not sure we need wildfires (flame hounds are certainly bad enough) there was talking in another thread about a random event that would have locusts descend on the players crops and grass, eating them all.

in lighthing storm will strike you if you standing in the wide area, of course chop drown the tree is unwise in the weather like this. however if you lighthing as your advantage would be a great challenging(maybe we have to play benjamin frankling)

For thunderstorms I assume the risk would be the occasional lightning strike that would cause a fire, but at the same time the rain would make sure the fire didn't spread. So while a tree struck by lightning would burn down, the surrounding trees would be safe. The best time for thunderstorms would be during the Summer.

Yes, this could be a random event that passes through an area and destroys/scatters everything in its path that the player built (i.e. however not resources, like berry bushes).

It was suggested that ponds are frozen, so no fishing. And the general idea is that during Winter fewer animals would spawn, thus making it much harder to gather food.

Yes, the general idea for fog that I like was that it reduces visibility and appears similar to the fog around graves. Then, ghosts would spawn from the graves and haunt the immediate area during foggy days.

Anyways, seasons will be a great thing to be added, the winter hat is already here and they plan ona dding seasons as far as I heard, so.. Electricity would kind of ruin this game to be honest, I really like the old-age theme of the game, using swords, tentacle spikes n stuff.

do u think u can collect electricity in the thunder storm?

u know using electric for science purpose?

I think that would be a very good use of lightning. Especially if the effects of the lightning strike disappate over time, so the player has to choose whether to take advantage of the energy temporarily stored in the "machine" or let it disappear. Of course the question now comes down to what exactly is the machine in question?

I think it all depends on how electricity is handled. I'm of the opinion that it should be a fleeting resource harnessed during a storm and then "gone"... so the real question is, what can it be used for? Maybe a means to melt sand into glass? Or to manufacture another item that cannot otherwise be crafted? Or what if the charge can be passed into a battery, and said battery depletes when used (i.e. like a torch). If the Devs ever introduce underwater biomes then an electric ligt source would be necessary... and maybe function like a torch (only for exploration of the darkest depths underwater).
