Btw. if it is possible to create backups, can they be shared to other people to show them your world? Abenlen Posted October 15, 2014 Share Posted October 15, 2014 Yeah, I had that mod for a while. It really took away much of the charm of playing. The rogue-like element of Don't Starve seems key to it's appeal to me. I genuinely feel some emotions when my character is in danger since I know that if they die I'll have to start over from the beginning. I'm coming to the view seeing each world as not a permanent thing, but as a temporary learning experience. And the more I learn, the longer I get to stay in each world. I just don't get too attached to anything that I've done there. No offence to those that use the mod, I really do see the appeal. But for me, it kills much of the fun.
