(I...guess I could handle Meredith...

EDIT: wait, I have found a solution...)

"Goodmorning to you too...it seems like I fell asleep too, in the end."

_______

Meredith stares at the mandrake for a while. What would be better for her? Kill the dog and eat the mandrake, or leave them go so she'll be left alone in peace?

"You can leave. But on one condition: bring this...ghost along with you."

"Oh great... Well we haven't been attacked and eaten by god knows what so I guess it doesn't matter..." Cypress stood and rubbed her eyes. "My headache is gone, hallelujah" She chuckled softly. Cypress's stomach growled. "Let's cook up some of that meat from yesterday, I could do with some food."

Wekesa ignored the things going on around her, it was all just background noise to her. She was listening for anything of great importance however.

"I...ehm...well..."

After turning around, Wy takes something lying behind him. It appears to be a vest of some sort.

"Last night I used the beast's trunk to make this...for you. It's...warm, I guess."

He hands the puffy vest to the girl, looking in another direction while he does so.

Cypress took the vest and looked at it. It definitely looked warm, it was incredibly soft too. It was such a simple gift with simple notions behind it. However she felt that the notion wasn't just to keep warm and not freeze to death, it was something a little more heartfelt.

Stealing and getting things herself was how she had adapted to living, a gift was a warm change... She had the compulsion to do something she hadn't done in a while, to give someone a gift... But what would match such a practical gift? Not like she could rock up to a shop and buy something, that was even if she had money!

What the hell would a shadow boy want anyway?!

"Th-thanks Wy... That's sweet of you, I'm sure it'll come in handy."

Meredith, whilst walking around, came across a tallbird. She though, "No big deal, I've dealt with these before." But this one was different. It was much taller than normal, it's eye was orange, and it's screech was very different. She was so flabbergasted, she fell to TE floor, began crawling backwards, until she hit a rock. The tallbird then picked her up, and telepoofed sonewhere else.

Excellent. Another peice stolen from Max.

(Percival does not approve)

Meredith snorts. Why was dealing with a plant that hard? Maybe the better solution is actually the easiest one: cook it.

"I said you are free to go. Go now. Leave. And do not return."

Satisfied with Wilson turning his attention to teaching Moxie, Athena attempted to assemble the tents. However, after a few tries she realized she didn't know how to make a tent. She thought of asking Wilson, but didn't want to interrupt the lesson.

"Um... Wx, could you help me build the tent?"

Wx had loaded the materials into the crock pot, which was now cooking, when Athena asked him to help with the tent. "VERY WELL." WX moved towards the tent materials, and he grabbed one of the stakes and motioned Athena to do the same on the opposite side.

(I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE A TENT SOMEONE HELP)

(Well, I was thinking we'd follow the game mechanics and have to move towards the alchemy engine to unlock the recipe, BUT THIS WORKS TOO.)

Athena followed WX's instructions and the tent was finished quite quickly. Confidant she could remember how to do it now, she thanked WX and started work on the next tent.

(Fixed it.)

The scent of food grabbed Wekesa's attention. She up-rooted and stood by the automation. It appeared to be putting food into a stone box and then waiting for a different food that smelt better to come out. How strange... Wekesa pulled a morsel out and held it in front of the automation.

"It's a practical gift, I'm sure I'll use it when the weather gets colder." Cypress smiled and stored the vest in her pockets that acted like a TARDIS, what with storing many items in a seemingly small space. "Where did you store the meat? I'll cook it."
