Normally Cypress would take any distraction to escape a troublesome situation like this but it felt wrong to leave Wy with the angry mammal.

Perhaps it was the whole 'survival situation' thing but even then it was survival of the fittest and she usually respected that, if you weren't fit enough to survive the wilderness then too bad for you. She could run and who knows maybe he'd NOT be killed by the Furryphant, maybe he was one of the fittest. {I love that name.XD Furryphant~}

But on the other hand perhaps it was the fact that Cypress was enjoying being in Wy's company, maybe she liked Wy in general, maybe she just wasn't ready to admit it to herself yet.

Cypress's timid demeanor snapped into one of aggression. Ears pressed against her skull, teeth bared and snarling. She ran towards the Kolefant with a bark and jumped, jaw latching around the animal's neck, teeth digging into the skin. She may not be as strong as a wolf or the animal she was attacking but she made up for it in pure savagery.

The bite went throught the thick layer of fur and skin, blood spraied all around it and in Wy's face. The beast moans again, tries to throw Cypress away, but the loose of blood soon brings it to death.

The boy passes a hand over the blood he had on his body to clean it, then turns to Cypress with both a terrified and relieved expression.

Cypress shook her head side to side violently, tearing off the meat that she had latched onto. She let the meat drop, blood staining her maw and her fur. She looked at Wy, pupils dilated, ears still pined and snaring. She barked and snapped at Wy before her pupils returned to normal and her ears pricked up.

She changed back as soon as she could. "Oh crap, are you ok? I-I'm sorry if I scared you! You're not hurt are you?"

"Y-yea..."

Wy stands up and approaches the dead body. He takes out the spear from the creature: the spear wasn't planted inside as deep as it should have been, because of how weak he is. If Cypress wasn't there, he probably would have died, many, many times.

"How do we cut it?"

"Hmmmm..." Cypress took the spear Wy had given her and broke the head off, with enough of the wooden handle remaining to keep a good grip without cutting herself. Cypress starts cutting the carcass into manageable sizes. "There, now we can take it back and store the meat." Cypress takes a bit of the meat and waits for Wy to collect the rest and head back to camp.

"Athena"

She had responded quickly and calmly, like she had done this before. Both her and Wilson were surprised to see the frog jump onto her head. He took out his spear and aimed it at the creature, but Athena calmly picked it up off her head and set it down of her lap. He lowered his spear and looked at the frog with surprise.

With Wekesa's limited sight the image of Newleaf a gradually faded into a black blur the further away she tried 'looking'. The farest she could see was the outskirts of the forest where he came from. Wekesa decided she'd start her search for this 'human' prey there, she commanded all her eyeplants to return to the ground hence they came and she started her journey.

{ @Quiet I'm guessing Oxy will follow her and while WX is still introducing himself we can run into each other again.}

Wy collects the meat and opens his backpack.

"Actually...why don't we camp here for tonight? I have enought wood for a fire and it will be night soon."

He rubs his belly.

"Well...I am hungry too, so...some of this cooked meat would do the trick..."

Athena nodded slowly, still a bit weak but quickly recovering. She looked at the robot.

"Might I ask what your identification is?"

Wilson bent down, examining the frog closer.

"Fascinating... I've never seen a frog this, erm, 'cute' before. Not to mention it's also the first one I've seen that hasn't tried to kill me on sight."

Athena cocked her head to one side and looked at the man questioningly.

"So they're all this big here? And they try to attack you too?"

"Mmhm..."

Wilson was to preoccupied with the frog to pay much attention to her, and she seemed to notice as she narrowed her eyes at him.

Newleaf watched as Wekesa left, sighing. One less human in this world would be a good thing, but that one didn't seem to have any bad intentions for his forest. And if it were to die, then it could be replaced by one that did... But with any luck, Wekesa would eat the next one, too.

"WX-78, BUILT TO SERVE." WX took a small bow, then went back up again, standing motionless.

Wy takes a piece of meat and devours it with one single bite. Blood drops from his mouth as he chews the raw meat, shalshing it with he's teeth. Cypress could now see how sharp his teeth are: almost...robotic. From how they look like, they even could eat metal.

After eating the meat, Wy turns to Cypress and he suddenly looks embarassed.

"That...was rude of me...eating like that in front of a lady..."

{Newleaf's hopes for anybody: Wekesa will eat them. I love it. I can imagine something similar but not quite. I was going to add another form to Wekesa. It doesn't serve much game purpose but it would be fun in an RP. Anyone seen 'little shop of horrors'?}

After walking for a while Wekesa stopped walking and looked around. Something was making a hum or buzz and it was starting to annoy her. To Wekesa's knowledge only a few things made a buzzing sound, insects. Perhaps it was the insect from before, maybe she'd get her chance to confront the little thief.

------

Cypress was fixated on his sharp teeth and his words made her snap out of it. After blinking a few times she burst into laughter. "L-lady?!" She continued laughing, much like a hyena. She took some deep breaths to calm herself. "Oh my god, a lady! You called me a lady! Wy I'm no lady, heck I'm looking at those razor sharp teeth of yours. I find them really cool! I've eaten raw meat before, and your teeth are slicing through it like it's nothing."
