CoreyJay
I read on the wiki that if you release captured bees near a group of evil flowers, they will spawn more making the flowers a renewable resource. Well I tried that, but after releasing the bees they just wandered off. How do I get them to stay in the area of the evil flowers so that they will keep producing more? oCrapaCreeper
Build bee boxes near the flowers instead, the bees will just wander to their original hive if you just catch them and let them go.
CoreyJay
But if I use a bee box won't they just make honey and not plant new flowers? Or does it work differently from regular flowers?
the truthseeker
It's just not worth it. You need to capture bees from a destroyed beehive or box and release them so they are rogue. Next you need to build a wall around the area (multi-tiered in a very specific pattern in staggering stages.) It's just easier if you get RoG add-on and handle planted flowers after a full moon that turn evil. wolfbrother117
You can catch butterflies with a bug net. You can then plant them like you plant pine cones, and it will turn into a flower.

Most often, players use a bug net to capture then plant 5 butterflies to flowers per Bee Box crafted. So you're very likely to plant them too, Jennifer
