spencer320
Kill them! Wait for them to stop spinning, then, while they're dizzy, attack! If your near pigs, give them some meat to friend them then get the pigs to do most of the work or at least distract them. After they're all dead set up for next spring by placing a ton of tooth traps away from your base. When Goose spawns lead him up there but don't kill him, run away. When you get that distinctive clap of Thunder that means the egg is there, go up and kill the Goose. Few days later go back up and take care of the mosslings. Run up near them so they follow you, and lead them to the traps. Quick and easy way to deal with them. The Letter W
I found the Fire Staff worked pretty nicely on them too as it continues to deal damage while they're tornadoing around. It shouldn't take too much to kill them after the fire's gone out. porps
kiting them to beefalo or toothtraps are probably the least risky ways to kill them. If i'm manfighting them i find world edges are helpful- dodge the spin then when it ends they will be stunned at the world edge rather than spinning too far away and being stunned where you cant get any hits in on them. the truthseeker
If near a swamp, it is a pushover. but yeah, wait for them to stop spinning, and attack with or without allies. wolfbrother117
Wait, what!? That thing has babies?I suddenly feel lucky. I found the Goose rather easy when I encountered it for the first time yesterday. I took it out without a problem (at first, I thought I was boned), but I now realise that it was probably because I didn't see any babies... Yeah it lays an egg on the first night after spawning i beleive, so if you kill it straight away you wont see any of the babies. It's worth holding off untill the egg is layed because the hatchlings drop a lot of down feathers. spencer320
I've noticed it's usually a couple days after the Goose spawns that she'll lay the egg. And a couple more for the egg to hatch. wolfbrother117
So, does she continue to walk around where she first spawned, even if you are miles away? She didn't despawn when I went back to my base to prepare, but the again, I had a deerclops despawn after I ran about 1 screen away once...
