Don't Starve Together Beta FAQ *Outdated*

Recommended Posts

So am I doing this correctly, I have Don't Starve, if I buy DSTFP can i send my friend DST and we can play together, but, he can't play normal DS? Or can he play DST and DS?

If you buy the Frontier Pack, you can send DST to your friend and play DST. But he won't have DS

No.You can buy it for him, but it'd be like buying the regular Frontier Pack but with a giftable copy of DS.

I don't think I understood you correctly, but what i'm saying is, can he still play DST but without DS? Or do I need to buy him DS so he can thrive with me?

Ok, so one last question, do we  have to be in the same WiFi network? Or can it be like Castle Crashers and all I have to do is invite him?
Not sure about Castle Crashers, but you don't have to be on the same network, no. You can definitely host a server and then invite people through Steam.

Big problem here! Used to have a lot of mods, but they made my game crash continuously so with the latest update, I deactivated them all from the workshop... but my game still won't start, and it claims I still have mods installed, even some that I did not! I tried everything, from restarting steam, forcing update, uninstalling and re-installing, rebooting my computer, but nothing works. I'm at a loss!

@Flamia, You may be encountering this: http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/50937-known-issue-crash-on-boot-with-dst-rog-characters/

Note: Deactivating/activating in the workshop doesn't do anything until the mods menu is opened in-game. That's when it checks your subscriptions and deletes/downloads the mods based on them.

Hi guys, I'm a little off with updates, did we had another video after official DST trailer or any clues or secrets, like Maxwell's book and Charlie's flower on DS world ground?

Did we had any puzzles from updates?

Nope, nothing new. Just fixing bugs and stuff.
