Lobbies

On the topic of servers and managing characters, will there be a lobby implemented into Don't Starve Together? I feel that players (esp. friends and PvP'ers) would benefit from lobbies. It'd be pretty easy to implement (or at least it should be), just have them join and then hit a button when they're ready.

I think there will be, that would be a good place that you could visit to see what mods are being run on the sever too since I doubt you'd be able to put a list on the server browser itself. Also could show whose playing if there's a game already running and what character they're playing, connection strength, and maybe what world settings they have? Lobbies just seem like a nice thing to have, especially if you want to start a game at the same time with friends.

 There must be a lobby . With out a lobby it is hard to find ping rate of server , how many free slots are there .

Seeks reasonable. No idea what Klei has done in MP history before, so don't know their "normal method" of handling multiple players for remote connections though.
