As the radio gains pitch, Will grows more tense. In the distance, he sees familiar checkerboard tile."We're here."The robots he expected weren't there, and the large wooden base of the portal was in the middle of the area."This is it. We just need to put everything on, and then go through. Then, we do it 4 more times.""Four more times? But that's so boring!""I know, but the sake of everything depends on it."Will pours the parts out of his sack, and the machine seems to assemble itself."Okay, here we go. Let's go do this again."Will pulls the lever, and everything goes black for the group. They awaken on what felt like stone. Will's eyes slowly drift open, as he sits up. It was completely dark, save for the fire in the middle of the group. It was the only thing saving them from the darkness.
