The group follows the radio, their pace slowed down. The sun still hung in the middle of the sky, and the temperature was pleasant. As the radio gains pitch, Will grows more tense. In the distance, he sees familiar checkerboard tile.

"We're here."

The robots he expected weren't there, and the large wooden base of the portal was in the middle of the area.

"This is it. We just need to put everything on, and then go through. Then, we do it 4 more times."

"Four more times? But that's so boring!"

"I know, but the sake of everything depends on it."

Will pours the parts out of his sack, and the machine seems to assemble itself.

"Okay, here we go. Let's go do this again."

Will pulls the lever, and everything goes black for the group. They awaken on what felt like stone. Will's eyes slowly drift open, as he sits up. It was completely dark, save for the fire in the middle of the group. It was the only thing saving them from the darkness.

"No... this wasn't supposed to happen. Something is wrong. Very wrong."

The group awaited for Maxwell to appear in a puff of smoke, to no avail.

"We can't wait for him. We have to figure something out. At least, the fire seems to be fueled by our presence."

"What do we do? We can't go into the dark."

Jay turns his flashlight on and starts searching around the area.

He then starts collecting some twigs and grass and brings them to the group.

"Here. We can make torches out of this. Well, one for now. I can light them with my lighter if you need to."

From his other pocket he takes out a small, red lighter.

White looks in her pockets but finds no suplies.

"Nope, nothing here."

She looks around the area lit buy the fire in hopes of seeing any supplies.

(@Will )

"Well, then let's see what's around us. If we can find any supplies to make torches, we can continue on. Damn it, why didn't I think to bring grass and twigs?"

(Why does everyone ignore everything I say... ;_; )

(Because Will is not the most attentive of people.)

"Great, now we can move forward. I still have the divining rod, so our main goal is still to find all of the pieces. If what I think is correct, this is the last challenge before the throne. I don't know why we are already here. Maybe They were bored of what Maxwell was doing and pulled a fast one on us."
