It Lies Underground (Closed)

(I think I'll reuse a character. It will make sense, considering the underground theme.

Name: Lisul

Race: The Enchanted Servant

Age: Ageless

Gender: Genderless

Backstory: This creature has no sense of time, but it can still remember, which is good for the servant; the first step in being truly alive is to have memories. It cannot remember its original owner, but it does know that it was salvaged from the ruins from a strange individual. In that point of time, it was shattered intro remnants and shards of stone, save for the orb in the center, but the new owner was, to say the least, determined. Over the course of several days, or perhaps months (it couldn't tell; time was a strange concept here), it was made whole, the cracks sealed with a mixture of magic and sticky paste. Of course, as it was made, it would have a tendancy to wander. Being set in a new world, it was immensely curious of the world above the ruins it knew so well.

Abilities

Like A Die, But With Actual Magic, Instead Of That D&D Crap

The creature may not look like much, but it is a powerful being; of course, being powerful, it requires specific commands and keywords for the runes to work, some of which included in the scroll that it was buried with. These words include; Track, useful to leave a track mark on a certain individual, Lux, to emit light, Corporealize, to make intangible creatures whole, among other commands.

Appearance: This servant is not a human slave or of the like; the creature itself resembles a large standard die one might see in a board game, except made from stone with intricate carvings and sockets on each of the faces, slots where its glass eyes would be, the bottom egde of the creature split into moving chrome segments for legs. So, not like a standard game die. Each of the faces have different materials in the sockets, which are alexandrite, glass, agate, basalt, a reflective chrome, and thulecite. If you looked through the side with glass, you would see a pulsing orb in the core of the cube.

Personality: While not necessarily alive or living, this creature does have a disposition of sorts; upon meeting the cube-like creature, you will immediately notice that the slave has an innate, unsatisfiable curiosity. While it does have jurisdiction for its extreme interest, being sealed within a chest for most of it's life, this curiosity is, to say the least, dangerous. It has no moral ideas nor any restraint for it's own safety, which might've been the reason for the creature to be locked.

Side Notes:

  • Being a mechanism instead of a being, it has be fueled by something. Therefore the being that created it decided to fuel it with either Nightmare Fuel, its byproducts, or magic essences.
  • The creature is susceptible to damage, and while it can repair itself with the proper commands, it takes an alarming length of time for it to heal.
  • The creature is quite large, the size of a block that could be fitted into a pocket, but barely.

Eh?)

The elusive creature rose her horned head from the pond, yawning. She pushed herself up and out of the water using her slender arms and inspected the surroundings nonchalantly, her watery hair flowing and twisting in the air behind her. Blood stained the outskirts of the pool and a few bony carcasses could be seen at the bottom, one of which being an entire hound, which would slowly start to taint the water with infection. It seems like the occupant of the pond didn't mind that too much, as she sat on the bank with her aquatic tail dipped just barely into the water. After what seemed to be an age, the creature made up her mind and launched into the air with a powerful beat of her tail.

She eventually approached the chasm in the ground again, steeling herself to slip inside undetected. Although the heat was unbearable against her liquid form and steam rose in white clouds from her body, her fingertips stroked the rock as she translated the message within. A petite hand clasped over her mouth, and she shook her head, her hair flying in all directions with the violent movement. Her eyes widened in fear.

She shot out of the cave, flying as fast as she could to the island's edge from whence she came, where she disappeared under the water for a while. A few odd distorted noises came from the dark blue depths as the creature told her kin, causing an uproar that resulted in nothing more than a few distorted voices and bubbles on the surface. A few of the same creatures swam away from the Island, just under the sea's rippling waves. Some called out desperately to the one who had found the chasm, arms outstretched, trying to bring her back to them. The creature shook her head, gripping her trident in one hand, and reluctantly leaving her fleeing brethren behind as she pushed herself out of the water and onto the land that is threatened by the immense evil.

Slowly she glided through the air until eventually she had made it to the chasm again, where she squinted into the distance. Arguing amongst each other was a cowering spider, and a Depths Worm, and a small dark dot that the creature couldn't quite make out from this distance. Her eyes narrowed even further as she approached the trio.

"Nu fal'ekk eishra imici ta urek? Nu fal'ekk ona em trypim ma tol?! Arek'mi!" she demanded, in a tongue that was completely foreign and a voice that was melodic and exotic and completely laced with menace. Her trident came swooping down at an arc, pointing accusingly at the Depths Worm, Webber, and the beetle. She was floating upright, tail idly swishing back and forth as if she was treading water in the middle of the air. Her body was made entirely out of water, and scantily clad with pieces of metal. She had two small gems on her - one on her headdress, and one on her chest - which were small, and a dull blue. She looked like something akin to a mermaid with...exaggerated assets, and a very small waist. Of course, to counteract these types of look, her face was thunderous. She looked like she would easily rip apart the three below her. "Arek'mi! Nu eishran Draakul?! AREK'MI!" shrieked the creature, trident quivering in her grasp, clearly very very angry.

(I shall, most certainly, look into it. but it's so...advanced xD I'm good at the writing, not the role-playing! I shall stalk it until I feel like I could maybe join.)

Highly offended by the beetle's attempt to just spew gibberish at her and think it would work, the creature made a hissing noise, spitting onto the ground; which, in essence, is rather counter-productive as she needed that water. She put away her trident onto her back again, deeming it unnecessary to even bother being on her guard against these three. With an aloof snort, and a flick of her shimmering watery hair, she glared down at the trio with as much intensity as Delmar. "Eenklisch?" she asked coldly, almost spitting out the word. After a moment of silence and thought, the creature managed to translate what it was she was saying earlier.

"You released Dracul? Stupid, stupid! You not know what you have did, insects! Going get killed, nothing live more, not in sea or land or sky!" snarled the creature, gesturing widely to the area around her. Her grasp on English is, to be frank, completely terrible. At the very least she is able to communicate, which is a good sign. But the murderous intent was clear on her features. "NOTHING live more, insects. Must find warriors, now. Not me, though. YOU find warrior. You kneel, you say how you is worst insects, BEG for help, and fix this. First thing you do, though, explain to ME what you did."

The creature jerked a thumb behind her, to the chasm, whilst shifting her weight so she's sitting down in mid air, arms folded. She regarded the trio again, infuriated by their lack of fear. Did they not understand what it was they did? There was a stone in there and everything...perhaps she'd have to find three more intelligent beings to do solve the issue instead, and merely sacrifice the trio into the lava pools in an attempt to please Dracul.

But there was something quite apparent about the entire situation ,something the creature knew deep down - there was no going back. in 15 days, Dracul will rise and destroy everything. She'd have to leave after 10 to catch up with her people, and sort out her affairs, and most likely have to fall back into slavery under his rule, as her parents once did long ago. The Sirens would have to bow before Dracul in order to survive and as soon as there were real heroes who could fight him back, she'd be free again.

The creature hissed again at the group. It was all their fault, it was entirely their fault, and unless they explained themselves, she wouldn't be able to leave them breathing after committing an unforgivable crime such as this.
