Wendy needs more friends!

I built my base near the graveyard (because I thought it would fit Wendy's character). I was completely happy with my decision, until I found myself with a nasty surprise.

So I was thinking, why aren't ghosts passive with Wendy? It would make much more sense. Besides, Wendy really needs to be buffed, Abigail isn't enough for a reason to play as her, especially since she's so weak.

A super OP army that can only be used once every 16 days that only lasts 4 segments and can only be used if the player is close to open graves... sounds pretty fair, but, there is no reason at all for that to happen, I don't think Wendy is the sister of all of those ghosts.

Obviously. I just thought that a spooky girl like Wendy would be able to pacify lost souls.

Abigail is friendly because she's her twin sister, but all the other ghosts aren't related to her.

 

Anyway, I dunno why you would think Abigail is wimpy, I think she's incredibly good (as long as she isn't getting stuck on tentacles or your beebox bees) Are you mostly only using her for fighting during the day? She's stronger at dusk and much more powerful at night.

 

Against a lot of things I can just send Abigail after them and not have to bother joining the fight at all. (All spider dens shall fall painlessly!) And against the stronger monsters, she's still a big help.

 

Of course, she can't do anything against the boss-types, but, what can you do?

Abigail allows you to reap the rewards of combat without losing anything. You don't need to expend weapon durability, armor durability, or HP. That's still a pretty significant advantage, I think, even if Abigail isn't good at fighting everything.

The ghost army could be fun, but Wendy is already at her best during a full moon anyway. It allows her to be active at night, which is when Abigail is strongest. Normally, fighting things at night is risky, but not during a full moon. You're not gonna find many ghosts unless it's a full moon, so this would only be buffing Wendy in situations where she's already strong...

I dunno, I guess I'm not really keen on abilities that are really situational.

Personally, i don't think WX-78 needs anything else.

I know, but any buffs would come with nerfs, wouldn't you say? So if the pigs attack clockwoks then they should automatically attack WX, don't you think? Cause pigs hate mchinery as far as I know.

Ghosts should be tamed with trinkets they follow you forever since the trinkets are like items from their past.

That kind of reminds me of my multiple chester for multiplayer idea... So that if the Ghosts each have their trinket, then you use the trinket or whatever you dug from the grave for something, then they would just leave you, similarly to killing Glommer without harvesting its flower, but that's a whole different story. May be giving nightmare fuel to ghosts would get you befrend them?

No, but that's what I expected from Wendy. I want the ghosts to be neutral towards her.

 

I could think of a quote like.. "Do you want to play, too?", or something like that.
