WX-44 Posted April 12, 2014 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Sooo I'm trying out the new beta, and after grinding for the skull and unlocking Webber, I've noticed something a bit odd. I know that pigs become aggressive and spiders are unaggressive with him, but wouldn't it make sense that spiders would actually give him Sanity gain in the same way pigs do with any other character? BipedalBear Posted April 12, 2014 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Actually, they do give him sanity gain.But because they used to have insanity aura, those basically cancelled each other out.Where as pigs don't have insanity aura before you befriend them, their sanity aura doesn't get countered. Gaining sanity from spiders seems too abusable. They're probably going to tweak him a lot in the near future, though, in any case. The spiders will roam near walls and aggro to destroy them. Karuboo Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 I also find that Chester is a huge problem when playing Webber, as right when the alliance with spiders wears off, they go directly for him. I also think Glommer gives enough sanity so there's really no need for spiders to give you extra sanity. If each one had a sanity aura it would be even more OP than Maxwell's sanity regeneration!
