TheEvilSword
I made a base on a partially savannah/grassy area, and now, no flooring can be placed over it due to items and such. So I've started a new game, and I'd like to know whether I can place a floor turf on any biome I want, as long as items are not present? Thanks. Dekay
Pretty much yeah, if there is a natural road or path that path/road will remain regardless but you can dig up any terrain except bare ground. Soopakoopa
I've never had problems flooring my bases...you DO know you have to digup the turf that's already present before you can put down a new layer, right? MilleniumCount
Yep, it actually is a crafted turf. You have to remove the original turf with the pitchfork before you can place the floorings. This leads to the answer that: Yes, you can place flooring on every biome, if you remove the original turf first. MycoLogical
Should flooring give a tiny boost to sanity? Deacon_Blue
Should flooring give a tiny boost to sanity? I mean tiny tiny but there all the same If it's small enough to not be imbalanced, it's probably not going to be enough to make any difference. emerphish
I think that floors like carpet, wood, and checkered should give like +5 a min, a little more if you have walls and furniture and such. Misaki
I would be okay with that but really, who goes to a swap and gets turf because it looks good? No one, and that's the point, swamp flooring reminds them of tentacles, that's why characters should lose sanity standing on it. Certainly not regular grass - seems like a good idea to me.
