Download Fails from the humble store

So I paid my $15 and own my own copy of Don't Starve, the only problem is I can't download it! I used the direct download link provided on the humble site after following the link they mailed me. After about a day the download fails, yes, I know my connection is slow but seriously, I have downloaded Linux distros without any problem, time aside of course.

I'm using Free Download Manager and the error message I get is "Access denied. Invalid username or password." Please do not ask me to use Steam because it's not possible, I've tried it and the client itself refuses to install over my ISP, which is Valve's fault because they seem to have included some sort of ridiculous bandwidth limiter in their installer. For this very reason I've been getting games which aren't "Steam Exclusive" and are also dedicated single player.

I'm sorry, there is no excuse for this sort of abysmal service, I can get free games twice the file size with half the trouble.

Sounds like the issue is either with your download manager or Humble Bundle.

Perhaps if you unclaim the page, so it no longer requires you to login to access, you might be able to keep the connection alive? I am not really familiar with the innerworkings of their system so you may have to contact them at contact@humblebundle.com

My guess is that the Humble website and your download manager don't get along, so contacting Humble support would be the thing to do.

Also, have you tried downloading it with a torrent client instead? You should be able to find the option on your Humble download page, and it might be preferable to a direct download if you're on a sluggish connection.

It appears the error is caused by Humble's temporary randomly generated download links which expire after 24 hours. I'll get a torrent client and try that, guess I was always under the impression that torrent clients were for those with uncapped connections. I don't care about the speed, I just want to get it downloaded sometime within the next week and I'd be happy.
