Day 44Skelly Jones needs a few chests and maybe even an Ice Box. Where else is he going to store the honey?Built Skelly Jones an Ice Box.Built Skelly Jones a Sign, too bad he doesn't know how to spell his own name.Stole two Tallbird Eggs.Checked on my farms, got two dragon fruit seeds in my Ice Box!Replanted regular seeds to get more variety of fruit.I think I saw something move!Sat near the fire planning for tomorrow. Day 45Caught a few butterflies, gathered some grass.Got attacked by hounds and four night crawlers.I knew I see something moving!Built a camp fire for the night. Day 46Caught some more butterflies.Harvested Durian fruit, bah.Replanted more seeds.Preparations for winter have begun.Placed more flowers near Skelly Jones place to help the Bee Boxes produce more honey.Gathered what little honey there was and placed in Ice Box. Day 47Gathered firewood, grass and twigs for winter.Got attacked by another Night Crawler.Built a campfire, slowly watching a shadowy hand get closer to me…eek! Day 48Gave some minerals to Rock Lobsters to attract them closer to my home.Built a new Bunnyman and Pigman house.Killed some rabbits for Nightmare fuel.Made it back home safely. Day 49Played with the Beefalo.Gathered manure for more farms.Harvested Skelly Jones Bee Boxes; he doesn't like them.Harvested the crops on Skelly Jones farms; he is as thin as a skeleton.Replanted Skelly Jones farms.Dug up a spot to have plant of trees for Skelly Jones.Spent the night at Skelly Jones' place. A don't starve day is about 8 minutes long, times 8 by 5,000 you get 40,000 minutes which equals almost 4 weeks of playing the game straight. zephymair Posted January 6, 2014 Author Share Posted January 6, 2014 Day 50-59Day 50Planted a forest for Skelly Jones.Mined some rocks for more farms.Harvested Skelly Jones Bee Boxes again.Harvested my farms, yay more dragon fruit!Replanted my farms.Setting out to gather more grass; think I will bring some tufts home. Day 51It started to rain again today; I hate being soaked.As I was gathering grass, a Tallbird looked at me.I was tempted to steal the Tallbird egg, but decided against it.Continued to gather grass until sunset.I stumbled upon a tier three spider den, wonder if I should kill it or let it become a nasty spider queen. Still up for debate.After sunset I destroyed a Bee Hive.Another night crawler attacked me.What was that? Day 52Caught some butterflies to make my home look pretty.Planted flowers to help my Bee Boxes.Harvested my farms and replanted seeds.Visited with Skelly Jones to see how he was taking care of his place.Skelly Jones still has his head in the dirt; wonder what's down there?Said hello to the locals.Pondering what to do next.Spending the night at Skelly Jones place, again. Day 53I decided to kill some spiders.Hounds attacked while I was killing spiders.Night was falling, I had not prepared a camp fire ahead of time.I was slain in battle; luckily I had a weird meat thingamajig that resurrected me. Day 54Today was a sad day, Otto von Chesterfield has died.The hounds were still attacking Mr. Chesterfield and I barely made it in time to gather my weapons to fend off the vicious fiends.I ran them into the Beefalo only to find out that the Beefalo were in mating season; luckily I outsmarted them both.I managed to destroy one tier three spider den, but not before a spider queen spawned.I managed to escape back to Skelly Jones' place.I'll be spending the night there. Day 55Today was a glorious day, Otto von Chesterfield has risen from the dead.Otto von Chesterfield and I gathered the resources which he left behind.The Spider Queen is a persistence witch; she is still trying to kill me.Biding my time long enough for the Beefalo to get out of mating season so they can obliterate the queen.Stayed at Skelly Jones' place again tonight. Day 56Watched the Spider Queen that was chasing me turn back into a tier one spider den.Killed all the baby spiders she had made.Ran away with a spider den egg.Prototyped a Shadow Manipulator and a Dark Sword; wonder what is so dark about this sword?Sat by my fire pit to keep warm.Note to self, obtain charcoal soon for dragon fruit pie. Day 57Got side tracked today from obtaining charcoal.Hired some pigmen to slay MacTusk, only to die by another MacTusk and Co.I'm wondering why Pigmen are so vulnerable to blow darts.Watched two frost hounds kill a Tallbird.MacTusk followed me until it turned dark then he ran home.Pengulls decided they would take up a place of residence at my home.Sat by the fire pit waiting for morning, watching Pengulls sleep. Day 58Burned and chipped down a forest.Harvested the charcoal to make a Crock Pot and Drying Racks.Decided while I was near the forest to mine more gold as I was running low.As night fell, spiders cut me off so I had to make camp for the night. Day 59Mined more gold.Traveled home safely.Put items in my chests that I no longer needed for winter.Harvested a Dragon fruit and had my first Dragon Fruit Pie, it was yummy. Sat near the fire telling stories to Otto von Chesterfield about Skelly Jones. Who says this won't take me a year to accomplish; it doesn't matter how long it takes its about the enjoyment of the challenge. Maybe like krampus giving u missions every 50 days and if u dont complete it, u get penalised. zephymair Posted January 8, 2014 Author Share Posted January 8, 2014 Day 60-67Day 60Hired the Bunnymen with some stale carrots.Attacked all three MacTusk encampments; the Bunnymen made short work of them!Decided to take a chance, directed the Bunnymen to attack the Angry Bees.Pengulls decided to surface, directed the Bunnymen to attack the Pengulls.Three Bunnymen versus 8 Pengulls; Bunnymen win.Started a camp fire to keep warm as the Bunnymen were making short work of the Pengulls and Bees.Gossiped with Otto von Chesterfield about Skelly Jones. Day 61Stole a Tallbird egg.Traveled home.Prototyped a Telelocator Focus thingamajig.Bunnymen attacked spiders, as I harvested the silk.Prototyped two purple gems and added them to the Telelocator thingamajig.Ate some honey.Watched the pengulls.Sat near the fire to keep warm. Day 62Harvest manure from my herds of Beefalo.Stayed with Skelly Jones; think I stay here more nights than naught. Day 63Hired Pigmen and fought MacTusk.Killed a Tallbird, stole it's egg.Killed a second MacTusk camp, watched a Tam-O-Shanter fall into the ocean.Built a campfire as it was late after killing two MacTusk camps. Day 64Traveled to the last MacTusk camp.Killed MacTusk; he loves dropping his tusks.Ponders what to do with 6 Walrus Tusks, after already making a walking cane.Fought many night crawlers got many Nightmare Fuels.Sat near camp fire to keep warm. Day 65Ran from Bunneymen after picking up monster meat.Fought some night crawlers, these things just won't leave me alone!Sat near the camp fire, firing blow darts at Blue Birds.Prototyped a Blow Dart; in hindsight wasn't worth it. Day 66I decided I would play with the swamp creatures, while harvesting reeds.Got a lot accomplished today, got lots of reeds and won lots of items from the fights.Built a camp fire to stay warm; what was that?
