Craig_Perry Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 after seeing a recommendation somewhere a while back I thought it was time to take some action and replace my bunnyman spider grinder with a rock lobster one (recommendation made by @TeoSS69 a while ago i think it was on reddit rather than here though) I have heard many things about rock lobsters on the surface and would like to know whether this was a good idea... Malafight Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 Speaking of spider farming ... i don't really get that thing.I built farm in my world, got spider den lvl 2 some pig houses tight around 5/6 and at the day they are doing perfectly fine, but when the night comes pigs hine into their houses, and spiders wander around destroying my walls.I can't add bunnymen houses there because (if i am not wrong) bunnies and pigs are natural enemies and will kill each other and thats gonna be a disaster.I heard something about farming only with bunnymen, so if I replaced pigs with bunnies would it help?Because im not sure if spiders hide into their nests durining a day and here comes my question. Plus, you won't have to worry about extinction or repeatedly herding them. I have about 15 of them in my main world and they can easily take on spider queens as well as all the inhabitants of the den. They have a wandering distance of about 5 tiles in all directions away from their house, similar to pigs. And have you SEEN one of them clap their hands in joy and squeal?
